I like Techniflora BC products, especially if you are new. They are simple, not too expensive and effective in my humble opinion. The feeding schedule is easy to follow, and the amounts suggested, which are giving in PPM, are very accurate, even without a PPM/EC meter, but you will need one anyway along with a PH tester. Peace

Depends on in what country you reside. Hydroponic-Research VEG+BLOOM is a dry one-step formula that ROCKS

Check out my grows to see it in action

Cropking Hydro-gro is really cheap 2 part dry mix.

One part is 4.5-14-34 with the micros while the other part is yara calcium nitrate, which is 15.5-0-0 and 19% calcium.

You can get 0.5lb of each in a set for 10 dollars which would last a long time.

This place also sells individual salts, but the hydro-gro mix with calcium nitrate would be a great starting mix without breaking the bank. It's also a lot cheaper in bulk.

This is the same place I get my salts btw. I've saved so much money not buying into big brand diluted salt companies and it works exactly the same if not better. No bullshit dyes or scents or special vitamines, etc.

So there's where you get your bloom boosters. Just use their mono potassium phosphate for 3.90 a pound. I highly recommend this route. It's better and cheaper than diluted nutrients with heavy marketing campaigns.

^^ churchhaze Checked it out. good to know!'

V+B is formulated specifically for mmj, so I don't know how, where, or if they differ enough, but it's only $19.95/#, which I am happy to pay, but it's always a good idea to have a backup

FYI, it's potent. I was using DM Gold an had no problem vegging at 5-600ppm, but when I switched to V&B, plants sexed at 500ppm. I backed it down to 400+ and the plants reverted to veg. Wouldn't have believed it, had I not experienced it

One more note: 1.5 teaspoons to 2.5galons of RO water@ 7.3 = 580ppm @ 5.5pH
