I'm growing in coco. I just switched my last batch to pure coco so I could see the difference but am just finishing my first grow in a coco whith 25% pearlite mix. i'm outdoors with that grow. It is a very light and airy mix which is just how I wanted it and I am feeding at least twice a day if not three times with 1.0 cana coco nutes start to finish. Heavier now that I'm into bloom but all spring with 1.0. The plants are sucking up the water now but they have always been heavy feeders because the light mix acts very much like a true hydro it just happens to be outside in pots being watered out of Home Depot buckets.
Had to transplant to bigger pots as the rootball was getting so tight in five gal. pots that it was getting hard to push the meter in. I may have waited too long but you wouldn't know it by looking at the plants. very robust and healthy. no bugs at all. Watch out for salt buildup in coco. that can hurt you. flush at the first sign of any problem with yellowing leaves or anything and then keep it wet. Really, pay attention to the water with a meter. It's kind of tricky otherwise but the meter takes all the guess work out of it and you're into scientific which I personally am more comfortable with. Thats why I like Hydro. More scientific, less touchy feely Highly recomend the coco. Love it
