new to RO water and my current nutrients setup

My current advanced nutrient line up was doing okay but I would like to improve it by getting a RO water filter. my question is that would I need to add more nutrients now like for my base and addictive from advanced nutrients. Now I have to add cal mag but don't know how much to add. Thanks in advanced for the help.

It depends on how you are growing -soil, hydro, etc.

Are you sure it is worth the investment and time. When I looked into them, unless you spend a fortune they are slow as heck.

I grow soil and needed more control over the water. I bought a Pur filter that attaches to my kitchen faucet. For me, it has done the trick of making me comfortable my water is okay for me follow the nute line general recs. Works great for me, and has also improved my homebrew.

In hydro, I think RO is more important but have never grown hydro.

Hi,
What's the PPM/EC of your tapwater? You may not need an RO unit...but if you do, they really aren't that expensive.
