This new photo attachement system isn't as easy as I would have hoped. Pics to come soon...Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I set this up at SoCal club in order to help them meet the clone requirements of their patients. They wanted a cheap (relatively speaking) mom/clone set up capable of meeting their patients needs. I'm sure many things could have been done differently but it performs well. Moms Veg fast but not too fast...
Some shots are dated and normally you wouldn't see this much loose wiring. But we had to get up and running.
Bascially there are Two 2x4 trays with 2 T5 8 bulb fixtures over the moms. They really need a 3x6 or 4x8 tray at this point. The shot of the moms is from June 5th. The lights need to go up higher and there really isn't a lot more room with the current set up. Someone's gonna be trimming and it ain't gonna be me.
The T5's are great. They run much hotter than many say. You cannot keep your finger on them. My understanding is that an 8x54w T5 set up (400w+) uses 50% as much energy as 400w HPS or MH. Any help there would be appreciated. The density of the moms is great. I actually keep the lights higher than usual because a longer stem gives me more room to make better cuts. If I really ran this as close as I could, the plants would be even more compact. T5's get a major thumbs up from me. I have a 250w MH and the T5's outperform it very easily.
Here are some mom shots. They need a little clean up for sure. Larry/Lemon OG is a beast. She vegs' really well.
This GC is banana's. Helped harvest a batch a few months out. This cut is special. Check out the double saw blade leaf. I'm flowering this now. 60 days is today. She's ready to flush for sure. 9 week strain. Lots of big 9 fingered fans. I really like this cut.
Here are shots of the cloning rack. Nothing too fancy. Just a two bulb 48" T12 from WalMart($7 for two bulbs). There is a 2x4 heat mat.
