Well this is my first grow. im doing it the poor mans way and im surprised they lasted this long. im only going to learn from my mistakes so im not too concerned if these go down hill. they are doing great and i only used 2 23 watt CFLs from walmart and the tube grow light they got there too. i used my pc box that my case came out of because i built my own pc and kept the box and used that instead well not i got them in a 5 gallon bucket and got no where to put them but im gonna make a spot soon. i used miracle grow soil with no nutes etc.. they have been like this for awhile now and i just let it go but im wondering what the problem is. I think i made a mistake by putting them all together into 1 pot which im not doing with the new ones im going to plant soon since my box isnt big enough anymore and i dont like in a medical state ive been putting them near my window for the sunlight until i get some extra money and can afford a better light. i got some pictures here and all information is appreciated. Like i said im a new grower never grown before im surprised they lasted this long and i hope to make them last longer but i need a little help from you guys if you need more pictures let me know and ill take more. these pics were taken with my phone. some of the others also have crispy leaves as well you can see a little bit from the picture.

plant looks fine man...give it light and go gentle on the water and you'll be fine...and make sure you've got holes drilled in the bottom of that bucket or you'll just rot out your root system by the water just sitting there chillin :D

Like Massah said, just let 'em go, water properly, and be sure you have adequate drainage. (Water should free flow out, no back up in the pot) Keep an eye on the new growth, and most definitely get more lights!!

mircle grow is not the best soil for the medical grow so it can cause some problems. I dont know what your Ph is at so that will cause a lot of problems if its not balanced right. you being a soil grower u want it close to 6.5 as possible, if not u will be locking a lot of food for them to uptake. and yes u want more light for your girls. and i dont know if i read that right but does it say u put a cpl plants into one 5 gallon bucket? if thats what i read that is not a good thing to do also.

Miracle Gro soil is just fine as long as you dont feed for a few weeks. In my experience, the pH is right, and it is STABLE with miracle gro organics anyway. In soil, the pH is so stable it RARELY is an issue. the pH would have to be really pretty far out of whack before any "pH related lockout" would occur. In MY experience, almost every time there is a lock out in soil, it's due to a nutrient imbalance, with an over abundance of one nutrient locking out another.

those bulbs will do the job for veg of course. if u can afford it man try and get the smalller T5's like a 2ft 4 bulb if u are only going to do a cpl plants, but a 4ft 4 bulb would be even better of course u will get better plants that way. if not those cfl's will do the job. but yea man i would start a new grow cause two medical plants in the same bucket will just not work that good haha

I wouldn't use them, although a very respectable grower had once told me he used the "Jobes" spikes on occasion with good results. And I wouldn't feed anything for at least 3 or 4 weeks after they went into that soil. If you haven't started yet, let me know, and I can pm you a very easy and inexpensive way to do an organic grow.

I've had plants that sometimes just don't take to SS the same as others or any number of other factors. I just recently had a plant with some fucked up leaves lookin like that. If it's not spreading then it was a minor issue and it most likely will resolve itself. MJ is resilant and can grow just to spite you! Many problems new growers (myself included sometimes) is micromanaging which leads to micro problems. I've learned to kind of take a step back and let my plants do their thing (although once you get comfortable in your setup this will be easier) Like all have mentioned before let her ride out she'll fix herself, but by panicing and dumping all sorts of shit in the soil to cure a problem your not sure of can lead to many more, believe me I have first hand experience.

i havent fed them at all yet. i would love for you to pm me your way and if possible light setup too. ill most likely build my own cab but if you can find a cheap decent tent that will work too. all tents ive seen were over 100 bucks and i can build one for less then half the cost. money is a issue but if i need to spend it then i need to spend it.
