Alright fella,
When you are germinating you want high humidity coz it helps with the roots, i would have thought they were ok but someone jump in here if im wrong' i do all my germing in paper towell, ive had afew that havn't opened but normally there open within two days and then it takes about an other days days to brake the soil surface, when your seeds open up make sure they get 18hrs of light but not a big light as they can burn under it otherwise. hope this helps my friend scunk

cheers for the info, i am actually using a 600w light with about 4 foot between the seeds and light, another quick question is when u place the seeds in the little round things have you got to cover the top of the seed over with soil????

I do all of my seeds straight into soil, a good thing to do is put seran wrap over the top of their container to keep the humidity up, also 32 degrees farenheit is way low, if your talking celcius i think that a bit high but i dont want to do the conversion right now cause ive been drinkin it up, now seedlings you want to keep the light a little further away than with established plants and remember once they pop mist em lightly to keep em happy, and be careful about not keeping the soil to wet but dont let it dry out the way that you will with a full on plant.

he towel method is great for figuring out how viable the seeds are but i like to put them directly into soil because about 1 inch down in the pot is pretty much optimal environment for em.

what scunkworm is saying is a perfectly good method but its all preference, remember if they grow your doing it right and you can acheive this a million ways

32 degrees? Where do you live and why are they exposed to such harshness? I'd be surprised if they will sprout in that kind of extreme temps. Also what do you mean first 18 hours? You know you don't need light until they actually crack open. I leave them under my bed with that method and don't look at them for 3-5 days, then usually all spouted. Most people's failures with cannabis is they're own doing over reading theories and bullshit posted on the web. Its so simple people fuck up from over doing it. If they do sprout, since they've been technically frozen you will witness a miracle. I'd start over.

yes I would suggest poking ahole in the jiffy cube and putting the seed down in the hole, if your seed is at ground level the seed itself will get pushed around whil the tap root is trying to dig, if you bury the seed the seed is held in position while the tap root finds its hold.

I was gonna put them in the soil on this grow but was alittle unsure my self on how they germ that way but now i know ill keep it in mind as like i said ive only ever germ'd seeds the towell way but its always good to know other ways, i know alot of peeps down do them the paper towell ways coz they dont want to hantle them,

just in my bedroom with a 600 watt light achives 32 degrees no prob with 3 fans running, so what your saying is to not even use the light for the first few days?????

Untill they brake through the soil they dont need any light, just make sure they get 18hrs once they are above the soil

Day 2 after planting seeds, no sign of anything yet, can some one give me a idea on how much water i should give each seed daily, they are in a 20 degree c tent with 55% humidity???

keep the seeds real moist until they sprout, mine usually take 1-2 days to germinate then 1-2 more days to sprout after i plant them, some seeds take way longer to germinate though. humidity should be between 40-60%(more higher during veg). Seedlings should have even more humidity. But it really isnt a big deal, just be patient. If they dont sprout after about a week I'd start to get worried
