Newbie Grow Journal - Blue Dream & Sugar Kush

Hello everybody, I'm a medical cannabis user and after all this time using cannabis have decided grow my own. I have attached a photo of my current setup. The taller plant on the right is the Blue Dream and the clone on left, which I planted only two days ago is the Sugar Kush. As seen in the photo, I do not have a grow tent or any form of odor control. I am just growing for the sake of experimenting and to see how it goes. However, I am concerned with how much odor I might have to deal with and would be greatful if anybody can give me an idea about how much it would smell in my apt. I don't mind if it smells in my apt but I wouldnt wan't neighbours complaining about the smell.

I am a complete newbie to growing and would appreciate any advice!

get that light closer to the tops of the plant to avoid stretching..and for the smell i have used ona gel before, it works pretty good.

Try the lil incents you hang in your car that helps with the smell, and try lowering the light a few inches

might aswell throw in some scented candles lol

What kind of light you going to use?? That light needs to be closer I don't think 2 plants your going to have to worry too much about smell put them in the back room and just make sure windows are closed.

Thanks for all the replies! I have two 14-watt 6500K T5 fluorescent bulbs on 18/6 cycle.

Also, would I be able to get an idea of how much smell there would be when the plant is still in veg state before flowering?

Well the Blue Dream puts of a very pleasant sweet smell it can get strong they smell more during flowering.
