Newbie grower; is my plant healthy??

This is my first grow and basically wanted to get some opinions/tips. The first pic is how it looks today with some close ups of flowering areas. The last pic is the plant as of 8/8 and shows the difference in growth.
My questions: I dont think I timed the growth properly and am not positive it will have enough outdoor time to grow buds. Do you all think it will still bud (I'm on the east coast and not sure how much more outdoor time it has before being too cold)
I keep hearing about plant food an feeding plants, is this always necessary? I've kept this as simple as possible-soil, water, sunshine
Once ready to harvest, do I cut down the whole plant or leave some stem for a potential re growth? Finally, does the overall appearance look of a healthy plant?

Any and all tips/suggestions/opinions are appreciated

Looks like it started to bud, then went into reveg mode, make sure you aren't getting more than 12 hrs of sunlight per day and it has a nice uninterrupted dark period, should be done in 2-2.5 months if you stick to the light cycle:peace:

The way my yard is set-sunlight starts hitting her around 7am and starts getting obstructed by trees/houses by around 6:30pm (give or take). Early on there were a few nights I brought her in to avoid really nasty stormy weather and likely exposed to the lights of a TV. Not sure if that is enough to put her back in vegetative growth or not. I know how important an uninterrupted night cycle is. In either case she is a strictly outside plant for a while now. Thanks again for your input.

I see you are in a container.
Plant looks OK.
We probably have completely environments but I chase the Sun through out the day moving the plant to maximize sunlight on it.
Flowering outside here is such a disappointment so my plant will be flowered inside though.

Hey Moflow,
I was actually chasing the sun in my yard as well haha, recently I've just been moving her into a little shade around noon. Is the amount of sunlight received by the plant during flowering especially important? I know the night cycle is pretty important.

Just like to point out that the indoor 12/12 light cycle does not apply outside. Its an inside deal.

LOL. We just had a mini 2 day heatwave here , actual sunshine! 22 degrees C! 71.1 F
In between about a month of rain and dull overcast days.
Back to normal this morning, a dull overcast day at 18 degrees C 64.4 F
I wouldn't bother with shading the plant at noon in my climate though or yours for that matter...
I've a couple of OG GDP in the ground as well, just cos I can. Probably neck them soon though
Outdoor weed grown in these parts is as " rare as hens teeth! " thank feck.. and crap into the bargain.

Your plants look so happy. I was getting worried about the heat midday here the last week or so-been well into the 90s F, brutal heat haha. Unfortunately I have no idea what strain my gal is-over a period of about 6 months I had gotten about 4 seeds from various bags I had and this was the only that germinated. It was definitely decent stuff the seed came from, but I know I'm always going to be wondering.
I've actually just started noticing some odd coloring on a few internal leaves (only about 2 areas show this) have you seen anything like this before? (Last 2 pics are the same spot on the plant from different angles)

Plant looks ok apart from that yellow bit.
An immobile nutrient problem, iron , zinc or sulphur maybe?
What you feeding it?
What's your pH?
What's your ec?

I honestly have no idea what the ph or ec is haha. I've literally just been giving her small amounts of water on a regular basis, giving her plenty of sunlight, and using a multipurpose garden soil.
This is my first plant/grow ever, honestly didn't expect the plant to get past germination, but surprised me. Was more or less looking at this one as a learning experience with a potential surprise.
Do I check the ph with the paper strips? Does "feeding" the plant mean more than watering it?
I do let the water sit for at least 24hr to let the ph drop some, but that's as far as I've gone.

I'd use it all the way through.
I can't really recommend any feed for you as I wouldn't know what your local shops might stock.
I'd be light years away from you lol lol
Perhaps someone else might chip in?

No need to get upset its just that new growers believe what their told and then repeat the information as gospel.

And this 12/12 keeps getting repeated over and over again.

Wasn't upset or insulted, just trying to help, but light dep(usually run 12/12 outdoors)is fastly becoming the industry standard, pretty cool stuff, anyways too many cooks make a messy kitchen and I gave up hauling water uphill a while ago lol:peace:

My mistake then, I didnt relize he was doing light dep.

Commercial growers who do this should move to a better climate..lol. So much veg time wasted.
