NewBie Here, just got a few simple questions.

Well, I went with the Auerogarden. I plan to upgarde once I learn how to use this.

Question one:

What medium should I use ? It comes with these pods but they have seeds in them already. Can I take the seeds out and put my own in. When these pods are used up, what should I use ?

RockWell ? IF so what type. It seems like there are many options.

Also what type of nuts you suggest for this application ?

I am using the lights it came with.

Also, I put some germinated seeds in soil and they are doing much better then the Aeuro.

Why use soil if you can use a hydroponic system ?

So, far I germinated one seed in a wet napkin, then place the seed in the pod and feed it two tabs of nuts. The light is running 16/8 I think.
