Newbie Indoor strains?

So I've been researching heavily over the past month or so and am just about ready to purchase a Mr Grow Pro PC Box and actually do the damn thing! For my first grow I'm looking to grow a strain that is kind, forgiving and ideal for a PC grow box. I don't want any auto's and not looking for anything mindless as I honestly don't mind blowing my first attempt as long as I am able to learn from my mistakes. I would appreciate any recommendations as to newbie strains that would give me a decent yield of quality puff. Thanks!

I forgot to mention that I have about 50 'supposed' Jack Herer beans and about 10 random cheese bag seeds, all of which are over 1 year old. I'm going to attempt to germ them either way but would the Jack seeds be a good strain to start with and would they work in the confined spaces of a PC box?

If you're going to grow in a PC, I'd highly suggest that you grow an indica dominant strain.
Heavy sativas such as Jack Herer have pretty long flowering times and tend to fill up space fairly quickly.
I think the cheese would be a better choice in your situation as cheese is more indica dominant than Jack Herer.

the mr grow pro has more vertical space then a wide width
i got 2 dead heads in there and they are strechy sativa dominate hybrid and iv noticed its good to let them grow above the fans then scrog.
if you do that doesnt matter on strain realy since you control where it grows for the most part
