Newbie, Need Help!!

I started from seed back on July 1st now with all the help from everyone here I am at this point. I have not had any roots pop out the bottom but the roots that are coming out the side of the stg cube hang past the bottom of the cube. The cubes they are in were probably cut to long, they are about 3inches tall.

My question is are they ready to go into the buckets yet and how much hydroton should I place on the bottom of the net pot. I am using DWC, 5 gallon black buckets my covers have a 5inch deep net pot.

Roots hang about 1/4inch past the bottom of the cube. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yup go ahead and transplant I dont even use cubes... I germ the seed till tap root is 1/2" long and stick it right into hydroton.. But I use a drip system wich gives water from the top down with DWC you need to use cubes cause water dose not make it to the top.... however that besides the point go ahead and trans plant just water from the top for a few days till the roots can get the water for them selves..

The roots grew more in the last day this is what they look like today. Should I start using nuts yet or wait a bit longer?

The first two are from one and the second two are from the other one.

Your not gonna want to add nutes for about the first 2 weeks when its first in the DWC unit. Just plain ph'd water. You will see when the plant is lacking in nutrients by yellowing in the leaves then start your nute regiment

Ill make sure one or my plants started yellowing on the tips.

Are the roots long enough to put in a bucket already or should I wait a few more days.
