Im a first timer and after several attempts of trial and error I finally have a little baby with 10 leaves! I have been using a 150W sunlight about 10 inches above with fox farm soil and nutrients. Lately I have noticed that my leaves have been dryer than usual with the sides starting to turn in. With first guess I assume that I am just using to many nutirents so I have backed off my solution mixes but I lately I have seen posts about too much light. Is 150ws capable of providing too much? Is it even the proper amount?

Another concern I am having is with my humidity. To start I was just using my closet, lights and a fan. After researching I had seen that people recommend to keep humidity at 30-50%, so I went out a purchased a warm mist humidifier. Realizing that the mist could not properly seal inside my closet and the cold winds were getting in I purchased myself a grow tent (still waiting on delivery). My question is what is the best way to keep your grow tent in the proper humidity with out effecting your electrical and what truly is the proper humidity levels and does it really play that vital of a role in the flowering process?

I am just growing for myself and not wanting to harvest more than I need to keep trouble away. I am thinking about waiting till the babe is about 12 - 16 inches before I move it into flowering. Will this be the proper height to get 4 ounces if properly done?

Sorry for all the questions, but I don't really have anyone I can ask in person and asking strangers is never going to happen. Please give me feedback so I have have some great med grade goodies :bigjoint:

Pics would really help, but 150w should be more than enough to veg, check with your hand between the light and leaves, to feel the heat.
If it's not too hot for your hand, your plant should not mind.
As far as 4oz., IMO you would need more light, more than one plant, and good everything, meaning temps, feeding, lighting, etc.
Not to be a dick, but to be honest, 4oz. is an unrealistic goal for 1 plant, indoors, especially for a first grow.
Set your sights low, that way you won't be disappointed.;-)
