I'm asking for suggestions how many times should i feed my plant? I know everyone uses thier own practices but I'm just starting out so don't bag on me that I got M.Grow for veg. It say every 7 to 14 days to feed, but that sounds like a long time to me. I've read some articles where it states to feed everyday? please give me your suggestions!!!

I start feeding mine after they are 1 month old . I am growing in soil that already has nutes in it . I usually feed every third or fourth time I water , at first half strength two times and then I go to full . I am still learning so I watch my plants very closely before and after I water them to see how they have been affected by water and nutes . The next day or two tells me whats up with them . But usually I water about every five or so days . It really depends on how humid it is and at what temp your in because it has to need water first I tell by the weight of the pot - when the pot is like 60-75% lighter I water it . sometimes now that is 7 days . in summer months I could water every third day , it just depends on how long it takes to dry out enough to need it . I dont know Mgrow nutes but less is better I think . Too much will kill or screw up your grow . Surf the RIU site and see what some of the more experienced growers say , I'll bet someone has used those nutes before and knows about them . I would be very cautious about using too much though and overwatering , Theres good stuff in Sticky ( the first bunch at the top of thread list in each catagory).

Definately DONT feed everyday. You'll overfert it quick like that even at low doses. I would start out with 1/4 strength every other watering and bump up 1/4 for every 2 weeks until you get your strains phenotype dialed in. Also don't fert for at least 2 weeks after planting or transplanting soil should have enough already in it. You can love(or feed) ur babies to death.

Miracle grow has an abundance of nutes in it that are time released. I have a buddy that uses and loves the stuff. His budz are great so I on't see why so many growers are so down on it. I use FF happy frog but that is just my preference. Anyway if it were my grow I would not add any nutes at all until 2-3 weeks into flowering.

Usually start feeding around 2-3 weeks after sprout depending on the size of your plant. It should have like 4-5 decent sized leaves to be able to handle nutes. Usually tap water has enough ppm to keep them going along with the cotylodons until then. I was told feed then flush feed flush and so on. Flush meaning just straight water from the tap. So when the soil is dry you feed with nutrients and PH'd water...then when its dry after that its straight water to help reduce salt build ups. Start your plants on a very diluted mix....see how they react then increase as your plants increase in size.

above is for a soil with no nutrients in it such as pro mix. Something with time release would be different.

here is my take . If you are in soil like i am . When you feed your plant uses the nutes and leaves salts and other bad things in the soil . This is why I think most people feed /water /feed or feed / water/ water feed . This way you wash some of the useless stuff out of the soil so you don't get salt locked or what ever it is when your plant can not intake the nutes because all the bad shit / byproduct is in the way . I don't know if i am correct but i do belive i am .

I am saying that I use FF Happy Frog as a preference. It has organic nutes that are pretty much taken up by the 3-4th week. Then I have control over what, when, and how much I feed my girls. My Buddy swears by MG and he grows out some very good budz. He does not feed his girls until well into flowering b/c the MG has plenty of nutes already. He likes to truly keep things simple. I can say 1 thing for sure, my budz taste better than his b/c my girls have used up all the nutes and what they did not I flush out before harvest. But as for yield MG does a good job. Although he is very impatient and tends to smoke leaves during veg and picks at his budz during flower. Neither of which I suggest, he gets quite a few hermies this way. And, it severely cuts into his yield.
