Hi guys and ladies:
I am wondering if I could ask for some energy from anyone interested in writing in this thread with respect to a quick education on the T5 lights. I have some plants outdoors that haven't gone into great flowering yet because they're behind trees, which prevent the sun from getting to them. But it allows me to have a carpenter friend build me a small grow box, so I can take some cuttings and revert some branches back to veg state. can I put the lights straight onto 18/6 to get them to go back into veg? Anyone know?
I am talking a small aquarium size grow box with a computer fan blowing around the wind. Just got to keep them alive til I move out from where I am now. So knowing these circumstances I was wondering what you guys could tell me I should do with respect to lighting. These T5's sound like they're perfect for growing clones and keeping plants healthy until they can be moved into a bigger space. What brand of T5 is the best value for dollar and how many rows of tubes do I need. Are they tubes? Not sure.
I can make the grow box 2 feet long or so, a 2 foot T5 fits into it. But I don't know what kind of lights to put into my T5 or even know what lights usually come with one that you buy. I need the whole education if you could please and thank you. The strain I have is no longer sold by the seed company and they're no longer around. That's why I want to see if I can get myself some mothers to keep alive until next spring. Oh, this thing has to fit in my side of the closet and be hidden by my shirts and other clothes so it can't be wide. Maybe a foot wide by two feet long by two feet high until I move out and can get something bigger and better.
I appreciate your thoughts good people. Cheers!
Cheers and Beers,
