newbie to hydroponics, need a little help please?

i am completely new to hydroponics, and i was wondering what the cheapest, and easiest method is for a beginner, and if i were to crush up tylenol with codine, and mix it in the water, if it would do anything to the plants to make a better buzz, or if it would harm the plants at all.:blsmoke:

The cheapest and easiest newbie hydro setup is a wick system. No pumps, no tubing. The cheapest and easiest recirculating hydro system is a flood/drain type (aka ebb & flow).

Pain tablets in the water would almost certainly hurt the plants. Acetaminophen (paracetamol) is fairly acidic and would throw pH out of whack. On top of that, even if you could get the stuff into the plants, you don't want to smoke much paracetamol or codeine.

Thanks Al, do you have any links to show how to setup those systems or anything?
