Newbie UK grower first ever grow with autoflowers

Hi .....iv got a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m mylar lined grow tent, with 2 x 300watt cfl lights(red) carbo filter extractor fan and a mini fan for circulation, my question is how many auto flower plants can i grow in this space, i no the auto flowering plants on average grow to 12'' - 18'' per plant and also do i need to reduce or increase my lights....thanks for any imput

You could get 4-5 in there, probably a few more with some shelving - I have grow tent too and can easily get 4 just on the floor (without being squashed together) The light you have is fine for that space so no worries there.. Check my Journal my Lowyder 2 is about 5 days from harvest.. holla if you need any help m8

u could do 9 easy i reckon althought if u were to go that many id go hps unless u wont meh yeilds

Yeah an oz is definately achievable for each plant m8

Hi guys, havent started my grow yet due to moving house, but im pretty sure in my 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m mylar lined grow tent i can get 15+ plants in there and all straight into 5 ltr pots from germating, im going to be growing 5 x short stuff automatic feminised blue himalaya diesel, 5 x short stuff automatic Snowryder feminised and either 5 of short stuff automatic Mi5 or short stuff automatic ONYX. Im also going to be adding another blue cfl 250w plug n grow and around 8 def- 12 45w reds and blues on my 4 way spltters, so i will have a minimum total of 1100w of cfl mainly around 780w in red spectrum and 320w in blue spectrum also will i have to add another carbon filter extractor fan and do i hve to link the ducting to the light hoods to remove the heat , ill be using 3 ona blocks 4 smell(do these things work?).....hope you guys can putme on the right track.....peace n love

p.s wats ya thoughs on which ones i should go 4 short stuff automatic Mi5 or short stuff automatic ONYX....i love couch lock smoke

Ok ..your not gonna like what i have to say but hey , your here asking for advice .. so here it comes .

NO way will you be growing 15 + plants in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m tent in 5 ltr pots under CFL ..your gonna get a really shitty yeild and its that simple mate ...sorry !

That might sound a bit blunt ... but trust me , Im just being straight with you , The idea of having allmost 1200W of CFL is just crazy


Im asuming this is your first grow right ?

Running 6 to 9 plants of the same strain under 1x 600w HPS will be cheaper to run .. get you bigger better yeilds and will be much easier to manage . With 9 plants under a HPS you can get anything between 3 to 5 oz per plant if you dial your room in right and take good care of your plants .... Do the math on 3 oz per 9 plants .... then do the math on 1 oz per 15 plants ..and now you might get where im comming from

Might need to rethink this Kong , Maybe you have allready invested in the CFL's ... no prob ... you can use them to veg your plants and have them as extra side lighting ... but you really do want to think about a 600 HPS and less plants .

thanks vento, ill add the 600w hpsand drop 500w on the cfl's, can you get 3oz of a autoflower m8, u from the mids then lol.....ps i lined my 5 ltr pots out in the tent and to be honest i could get another 5--7 pots in there?

yea its my 1st grow and think my eyes are bigger than belly, didnt think though u cud get 3oz pp of a autoflower....thank 4 the adivce

AF's are smaller and the grow cycle is faster in most cases ... but some can turn out like this ..

Im not sure about your strains ... but i know some can yeild more than an oz

have you allready got your seeds ? ... what was it that made you go for AF's ?

I have nothing against them , But from what i know you can't clone to well from them if at all .... so your buying seed that will have one hit an done ... if you take the other option of a regular seed ... sure its a bit longer ... but you can clone from them and just keep your grow going after you establish females ... bigger yeild every 8 weeks and you just keep a perpetual grow cycle , Female > veg > Clone > 8 weeks flower while clone is vegging .... Harvest , Its not that hard ...It's just the getting rolling and getting your first females .

I'm no way trying to talk you out of it King ... just offering an alternative to getting bigger better yeilds all year round every 8 weeks .

The strain im running right now " Pot of Gold " is reported to give you 5 oz .... but i know people who grow it and get 6's and 7's off one plant ... and its not shot gear ... its a Cup winner ... easy to grow ...very forgiving ... mould and rot resistent ... Basicley its a first time growers wet dream lol

Ok King ... im glad i have given you something to think about while your waiting ... I know how it is to want something quick ...so i fully understand your motives ....But quick is not allways smart
