New to this....Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a seed to sprout after it has been germinated? And what is the best soil mix/fertilizers to use? Looking for the basics

Germination can take as little as a day, and as long as a week or so. And I would use a soil that drains water well, has pearlite, and organic ingredients. Roots organic is good.

Start in 4 inch pots. Jiffy starter mix. When out grow em move to your growing soil.

it should take anywhere from 1 to 4 days in optimal condition , if the soils to cold it can take anywhere up to well 20 days ..
