cowboys about to own this year. the only competition projected was the green bay packers and they were easily beat by the cowboys on sunday night, on national tv, with romo and TO having bad games. there is an incredible amount of hype about this team this year and it has delivered every time. the first game was sheer domination on both sides of the ball. then in the second where the defense was patchy, they managed to win in a shoot out. and then finally against G.B., they managed to take away TO, but romo still managed to find gaps and use other players to make big plays that were needed. the defense looked soft towards the end, but the packers were just banking on small passes and the cowboys let them have as many of those as they wanted. both th defense and offense have proven that they can win games, it'll be exciting to see what they can do when both are having an A game. the only challenge i see them having is when they play the giants in week 9. that and the cardinals will be the only real test until the bye week. until then, they can practice getting ahead early and closing games on easy teams.
as a sleeper in the AFC i'm picking the bills. i feel like it's their breakout season. marshawn lynch will start to have big time games in about week 5 or 6 and he'll have success throughout the season. that'll allow trent edwards to have less pressure on him to win games and will be able to make good decisions and as long as he has that, he's a good quarterback in this league. the jags, jets, and chargers (overrated) are busts. the AFC champs will be between buffalo and indianapolis. i'm not sure any team will have a chance.
