Hey guys, got another log going. I’ve been chasing the Purple Dragon for a while now. I’m looking for true purple no tricks need. Started 5 Ninja Fruit from Ocean Grown Genetics. I’m currently running 1800 watts of Ken’s Grand Daddy, I’ll be adding another 600 in 2 weeks and will update that journal wed. Or thurs. , but it doesn’t true purple. So here we go on the Ninja Fruit. I’ll be using Canna Nutrients in this grow side by side with my custom GH Schedule. Probably do another set with Heavy 16 Fire& Moab for bloom boosters.
Only Started 5 got 6 left.

If you want true purple, try something crossed with Spirit in the sky, it's a peyote purple cross.

Just transplanted to 3.75” netpots
Running 1/8 strength seedling sechedule base, 10ml RapidStart, 3ml Cal mag plus.

Roots through on 3 lost one (never grew true leaves)

The fourth Ninja Fruit came back. Went to get rid of it and noticed a root sticking out the rockwool so I just left it, a couple days later it’s recovered.

Side Note: Won’t be doing Canna nuterients. Will be using Jacks Hydroponic in the (Jacks 321 Recipe) with homemade; Terpinator, Hammerhead, MOAB.
As well as other additives listed I’m my GDP log.

I was on a true purple quest.
I almost ran this strain , but decided to go a different way. I went with Triple Purple Rhino, and got a true purple plant out of 5 beans.

Very interested in watching this grow.

The other 2 ladies are purple too, but not like this girl.

Update: Ninja Fruit coming along, root development is slow but [I’m only running rapid start @ 1/2 strength]. Will be switching rezivoirs to 1/4 Nutrients today and adding Tea @ Full strength.
I’ll top soon to encourage lower node growth so I can take clones. I usually judge off Preflowers but these clones will be put in flower. I have 8 strains going in veg right now and more plants then that to test [multipe phenos of the same strain] I popped 30 seeds total including the Ninja Fruit looking for a keeper.
I pull down 2 lights of GDP down in about 4 weeks and I’ll run a test run of the clones in a SOG fashion. [should have preflowers by then and be able to separate out the males to an individual tent to collect pollen. I’ll be crossing with GDP and inbreeding line.

Guessing the back left is a male already though.

Topped 2 of them. Still @ 1/8 strength. The one bouncing back finally has a decent taproot. I keep my ec/ppm very low the whole grow and still flush till I get a good fade on leaves. I know the arguement, but some products and chemical salts can have carcinogens so I flush to a low ppm off r/o water. Up to 2 weeks.

More likely he pheno I’ll be using in my KGDP cross. Just have to run a clones through flower. They should be rooted soon.

Ran clones in rookwool cubes.
Took around 10 days before they showed sex. Found a awesome male.
Purples basically immediately after flower and has Trichome production.
Ninja Fruit #2


Also has the tightest node structure of all the males in veg. Removing 2 males #1 & #3

Ninja Fruit #4 is the only female, I’ll run it through flower before I use it for breeding to make sure it’s stable. Already have rooted clones so I’ll just start them as soon as roots are long enough to go directly to 5 gallon buckets




My goal is still to breed Kens GDP and Ninja Fruit then inbreed the line and Pheno hunt.
