Sup all, about a month ago I got some of those new beans Nirvana had come out with, autoflower+femnised supposibly.

Well I germed one on the 8th of June, the next day it had cracked and showed taproot, then from there I had transferred straight into a 3gal DWC bucket. Now I have never tried my hand at hydro before ( I just finished my 1st grow a few weeks ago) and I just wanted to start up a little experiment.

I dont have any PPM pens or PH pens, however I have ordered one, and am working on a PH pen too. So ive just been kinda hoofin it and learning as I go on my own, and for the first few weeks everything was goin good, goin fine, no signs of deficiencys in the plant, no yellow leaves, etc.

I had been following the GENERAL ORGANICS feeding scheduale at a 1/4 of strength, with R/O'd water, and a little bit of GREAT WHITE MYCHORIZAE And no I never had any problems with foaming, wait let me re-phrase that, I had ONE problem with foam, and I just let it go, and the foam had been in the bucket for a few days before I switched the resivoir out (I changed the water once a week as ive read) and still I had no signs of deficiencys or plant struggle.

But then I woke up this morning to this..... :evil::evil::evil:

first three pics are WEEK one
then WEEK 2
then MALE week 3?? looks like it to me. can someone clarify?

If it is ill be starting my last 2 beans today, my other two are in soil just gettin there first set of leaves developed, lets hope there not like this one .

so much for feminized. HOWEVER!! hold on to some polen and make your own seeds by pollinating a female your about to germinate - so you have your own seed stock of auto flowers :D

I would but I dont know anything about pollination.... sorry. Im going to do two more in buckets once my seeds germ. I should have my PPM pen by then. thanks.

yep the only male or hermies i have had off feminized seeds are when they have been off auto strains.

I grew out some Himalayan Blue Diesel and Afghan kush ryder - all feminized. I only experienced the bananas on the HBD. I wouldnt grow HBD again, but the AKR was like skunky coffee and smoked sooo good!!

Yeah I got two others in soil, I put ONE seed, in a gallon pot in soil right now and it sprouted just fine then a few days later another one popped up beside it :confused::confused:

you have a twin.. this happens some times, two seedlings from one seed. it's a 2 for 1 bonus. I would let them grow together, just use string to pull them away from each other :P u can seperate them but u could kill one or both.

Haha thats sweet yeah I never planned on trying to transplant im going to let them both go in the same pot and see what happens... that seed was planted on the 24th and the 2nd sprout just showed up yesturday, the 29th... maybe it will make up for the MALE I just got!!

If I wanted to collect seeds from that male autoflower that I got do I have to let it keep growing til the finish just like any other plant?? Id really like to get some more seeds since this plant turned male on me.

Well, here goes....

pulled the male plant today but before that I did some quick readin about collectin the pollen so I thought I might as well try it for later use. I got all the bunches of balls on a paper plate dryin out. As for the "Blue hues" that your suppose to see...well, I saw em, it looked cool as hell too so im excited to see them go the whole way. These things are as fast as they say they are and I love the shape and size of them already. The one I did looked so cool in the bucket.

2x Nirvanas femnised+autoflowering Blue Mystic
-3gal DWC
-1 airstone each
-Rockwool cubes for the medium (they worked good last time there gonna work good again)
-1x 400w SunSystem 6'' Aircooled hood
-Again no PPM or PH pen but they are on the way :blsmoke:



Heres some pics just before transplant, a group shot, & them under the 400 :mrgreen:

Week 1:
-10ml BioRoot
-5ml CaMag+(by General Organics)
-5ml Great White Mycorrizae

For anyone that wants to know I plan on using General Organics all the way through with the buckets. Dont tell me I cant because ive already tested it out and I had no problems. I just used smaller doses. Less is more bongsmilie

Got sum h2o2 by Nutrilife today, shit came new at my local shop. not really sure how to exactly use it but..... if someone does..... let a man know :blsmoke:
