Nirvana's Raspberry Cough in Tiny Closet.

Hey Guys! I'm back after a loong hiatus. I got a little busy with school and all that jazz called life. I grew one more Aurora Indica after the rubbermaid grow. I actually got 3.5 ounces off of it, though it could have been 4 if I had let it go for two more weeks. I had a spider mite problem, because I was lazy and didn't clean my closet very well before growing in it. So I got a five pack of Nirvana's raspberry cough. It was a little slow going, but she is growing crazy fast now. I have outfitted my tiny closet.

I used emergency blanket to put on the walls for reflexion. I am using a 150watt Sunsystem setup along with two 32watt 5000K CFLS. I forget the name of the soil, but I strayed from FFOF this time. So she is about 2 weeks old at this point, and just starting to get a really lovely smell. Well here she is along with the set-up. I am shooting for 4 ounces of this

End of Week Three - Raspberry Cough - Sorry about the long wait in-between posts, but were only in veg. She is a real nice deep green and incredible growth. I'm about a week away from the switch, but we'll see. I really need to get the name of the soil because man this stuff is great. Anyhoo here are some pictures. Have a great night EVERYONE!!!

P.S. - She has a real nice veggie weed kinda smell to her. I love it. It's not all that bad yet though. Really only smell around the closet.

Hey GanjaQueen! Thanks for the feedback. I most definitely will be posting more. This is my first grow of this strain, so I'm a little nervous of the stretch, but it does have that bit of indica. She's pretty damn bushy right now haha.

Yea, you can def tell the indica. Leaves are broader than I expected and she is indeed bushy. Looks like she is going to have a good amount of tops :weed:

Hey guys! I'm closing in on 4 weeks and she's looking great. I'm flipping the lights tomorrow only because it takes a few days anyway to get going. Well here she is! I looooove her smell. She let's you know she's weed!

1st Day of 12/12 - Wow, she has already started to stretch. I was expecting at least a few days lag time. It's a good sign (until my closet looks like a jungle). I put some ONA with the cap mostly on and it has mitigated the smell, until you open the closet door that is haha. Well I just tied her down, so if she looks like a mess, it's because she is haha. I'm a little nervous about how I'm going to keep her from getting too crazy, but I'll figure it out as I go along. Here she is! Looking forward to some good bud porn in the next 12-16 weeks.

Wow she's one bushy lady! How are you keep your temps under control I have that same Light sun systems 150W HPS it gets damn hot damn fast(I'd like to get a 350w LED for flower soon). Keep it up and keep posting!

​I want to get some LEDS myself, but the $$ is intimidating. I have a really strong computer fan. It runs at like 120+ cfms. Plus I don't have the closet 100% enclosed. I have to build a door for it. Right now I just use the door on it, and close it to just a sliver. I also keep the apartment really cold haha, I love winter. Thanks for the kind words man. Gotta love the RIU community!

Hello again. We are almost a week into the switch and she sure is taking off. She is about 2 feet wide, yet barely just over 6 inches high haha. The growth is strong and incredibly green. As a precaution to have no tepid water this grow, I've been taking it out of the closet and watering it in the tub to allow for drainage. I got mites last grow from tepid water and a dirty closet...shame on me. She hasn't gotten particularly stinky yet, but the buds are a ways away.

Don't know if I mentioned what my setup was before, but I have a 150w HPS, 2 23w 5000k CFLs, and I'm using FoxFarms Growbig, Tigerbloom, Chaching(later one) and I'll be starting molasses as soon as I get a chance to go to the store. Being a full time student and worker makes that difficult sometimes. Anyhoo here's my baby!

I did that same strain.. Yielded pretty big and very frosty. But I didn't much care for it. Not much on the high. It was awesome for pain. I crossed it with 2 strains. Mater kush from dutch passion and King louis viii bag seed from a dispensary. Since it has quite a few skunks in the lineage, it produced a cheese flavor with the crosses. I made cheese berry kush and cheese og.. Which I still grow. Great for pain and great high. They taste much better than the RC mother. Rc was a 10-11 weeker. The crosses are 8 weekers

You should definitely get some big frosty buds

What was your yield? Was the smoke not strong or just not your type of high? Thanks for the feedback man!

very sativa high .. I had kushes at the same time.. Not my kind of high..... My go to for any back or muscle pain, or headaches. Yield was about 1.5 - 2 zips in 3 gals and 4 zips in 5 gals. 12 inch colas. Tops were pretty dense. Lower buds were kind of crumbly and dense at the same time. Very fruity smell. Kind of a fruity purple taste. Similar to GDP flavor. I'm not a fan of purples either.

I was doing guano teas then. I do mostly vegan living organics now. , compost teas, enzyme teas, botanical teas.

it was a great strain to use as a mother for breeding though. I want to cross my cheeses with some space bomb soon.

Thanks for the low down man. How was the stretch for you? She seems to not be unmanageable...yet.

nice setup md21, great job on the lst`ing, its gonna be super interesting to see the what the yield is, I have a feeling its gonna be good :-)
