Nitrogen deficiency; will adding more fix old growth?

Hey,

Some of my leaves are light lime green and I'm sure they need more nitrogen. My question is if I add more should this make the old growth a darker green or only the new growth? I am 2 weeks into flower and want to make sure I'm solving the problem

Thanks

I've never had lime green tops from Nitrogen deficiency. I only get the lower leaves being drained of food for the new growth which remains
healthy.

Do you have pics?

And lime green leaves do recover. Yellow ones don't.

If you're getting heaps of yellow leaves, is that because of an N deficiency?
If the leaves are on the bottom of the plant yes but if it's green on the bottom and yellow on top it's somthing else. If it's on top like dimebong was talking about it's usually a Iron, Zinc or sulfur problem. It's also normal for new growth tips to be a little yellow during the first couple weeks of flowering when there stretching espically when you first turn on the lights. But if there are a lot of big leaves turning pale or yellowing then that is a problem.

Where are the the leaves yellowing at jokerjon00? The bottom, tops, or all over? That info is critical for determining your problem.

What about near harvest time? Because I've heard a lot of people say that a lot of leaves start going yellow and dying when the plant goes to bud.

They do that because you're suppose to stop giving it nutes the last 1-2 weeks on purpose. You do this to keep the bud from tasting like fertilizer and having a chemical taste. The leaves yellow at that point because you're forcing the plant to use up it's food supply which is stored in the leaves. You essentially starve it and it responds by no longer storing food but using it instead in a desperate effort to procreate(make buds/seeds). You could keep giving the plants nutes the whole time and keep the leaves from yellowing but the result would be nasty chemy smoke.
