nitrogen deficiency

i think i have a nitrogen deficiency in 2 of my 4 plants. the one i have in dwc and on in soil ... the one in the soil has light green leaves but the outside edge is kinda getting a lil yellow. my one in dwc have dark center part of leaves but out side is turning light green ... with the soil would i just add nitrogen sticks or something like that and the hydro one what should i do ... i bought the fox farm grow big for soil then decided to just give it a try .. the soil is 6-4-4 the hyrdo is 3-2-6 . so i actualy am adding more nitrogen with that ... i use super thrive, thrive alive b1 and that grow big, tap water for now but i get the ph to about 6 or so i have the drops so its hard to get it dead on ... what should i do ?

A food high in Nitrogen. That's basically the only way, do it carefully and start slow...

I would try the Grow Big! It has a lot of nitro in it. Like MD said. They look healthy so it could be early signs? Also. If you use foil to reflect the light, it creates hot spots and can burn the leaves. Mirrors do the same thing! Hard to tell if thats foil or something else under the first plant? Could be the prob? Look on-line for best light reflectors. Mylar is best but off-white flat paint is #3 on the list I saw. Good Luck!

Around the plant is this tape that was at auto zone it is really really reflective i can almost see myself in it like a mirror.. And i got a cd and wraped foil tape around it and set that on my medium so keep from drying out so fast .. I just transplanted it from soil to dwc so the roots are poping out of the bottom yet.. I have it about half inch to an inch above the bottom of the net.. So that was to keep the lights from drying the roots out.. Is that a bad idea??

What is your ppm's?I don't think it is nitro diff.I think you might have a little nute burn. Also did you start out at 1/2 strength?Do you have a foxfarm feeding chart? Also what seeds are they?

well i dont have a ppm meter unfortunately. i did do actually 1/3 strength i think... yes i have the chart and they are just some bag seed... i know my ph was rising when i mixed it i think it was about 6 but when i went to change the water out it was about 7.5 or so .. i am using the drops so hard to get it exactly right...

Sorry man no one is going to be able to help you out. Those numbers are very important. You can get a cheap ppm pen off ebay.(not saying they are the best but will get you by)
