Nitrogen Free Flowering Cal Mag

So I seem to be chasing as Calcium deficiency. Probably some other issues too, but that really isn’t the point of this post. It is getting later in flower and I have been feeding 2-0-0 Cal Mag. As much as 10ml per gallon in week 3 of flower. Now in week 5 of flower and wondering if the extra N will cause issues if I continue to feed Cal Mag. I have seen 1-0-0 cal mag, but wondering about 0-0-0 cal mag.

Has anybody tried a Cal Mag derived from carbonates instead of nitrates? Any success? Wondering if it forms back into insoluble calcium carbonate???

I was looking at Grow More Medcocino Flowering Cal Mag.

Here are the ladies (week 5 of flower). Flowers are tiny after being stunted in early bloom. New growth is greening up after a heavy feeding and flowers are starting to get frosty. Not sure if these are going to recover. I can let them go 6 more weeks.

I don’t see any calcium def.

Looks like nute burn/ too much N but to answer your question.

Biobizz has an organic calmag which contains no nitrogen.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll admit I’m no good at identifying deficiencies / toxicities. The issue was first noticed on the back right plant about a week after flipping to flower. Yellowing tops, but different than the lighter color you normally expect in the center of tops. The issue was affecting new growth. Besides the yellowing tops, There was light colored speckling in the leaves. And eventually brown necrotic spots. I actual first noticed holes in the leaves without any necrosis. I thought aphids, but couldn’t see any bugs. I look every day and still have seen any. Maybe sloppy topping and rough scrog management?? IDK.

During the 2nd and 3rd week of flower, I sprayed Dr Earth Organic Stop All at night. Followed by a baking soda foliar a few days later. Then a cal mag foliar spray a few days later.

Im growing in a super soil that I had great success with last run (different strain, different light, different size pot). Tested my soil pH to be around 7.1. After flipping to flower and seeing these issues, I added some synthetic bottled nutes. I gave two feeding around 1000 ppm, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some toxicity. The new growth is very green, but in general the plants look better. The flowers are just tiny.

Heres some pics from earlier before the feeding greened up the tops.

Tiny flowers can easily be the product of nitrogen toxicity.

There is for sure nitrogen tox going on.

I dunno guys, I'm not seeing N tox (no dark leaves and clawed leaf tips) or Cal deficiency myself (brown spots). You were feeding a pretty heavy dose of cal-mag, because of the yellowing of leaves, but no clear sign of nute burn, I'm thinking you may be locking out potassium due to too much calcium. Just my not-expert opinion.

Also some of those spots and marks on the leaves look like bugs damage to me? Hard to tell. Have you checked for thrips or spider mites? Might be contributing to the plant stress.

Good luck!

Here is the tent as of today. Shows a mix of some of the older damaged leaves. Shows some of the holes. Some of what looks like burned flowers. Lots going on. It’s time to water. Seems like the best thing to do now is maybe just give pH’d water and a Great White dosing. Maybe til I get a bit of run off?

Edit..
Watered today.
-Tap water dechlorinated with Vit C tablet (25mg per gallon)
-Lemon Juice until pH was 6.4
-1 teaspoon of Great White per gallon
-1 teaspoon of kelp meal per gallon
-1 teaspoon of humic acid per gallon
-1 teaspoon of molasses per gallon
-1 teaspoon of epsom salt per 3 gallon (2 fl ml per gallon)
-1 teaspoon of azomite per 3 gallon (2 fl ml per gallon).

Each 3 gallon fabric bag got about 1 gallon of water. (Slightly less). Watered each slowly (2 cups at a time) until it started to slowly drip from the bottom (not sides).
