technically still my first grow because i started these while my first ever grow is still in progress but...bought a massive pack of seeds from a friend of accumulated seeds found in different strains hes smoked over a very long period of time.germinated 4 things are booming i also topped these plants relatively early but seem like they adjusted perfectly. pistils are showing and looks like a fems but im definately watching incase theyre herms. They are at about a month and some change currently age wise , As seedlings they started off in roots organic coco with volcanic perlite along with dr earths flower girl and worm castings, things are definately moving smoothly. these babies already showed their pistils and i will begin using nutes next watering. only used water phd to 6.5 and compost tea for watering let me know what you guys think along with any advice and if you guys spot any deficiencies your knowledge is greatly appreciated!

you've got much to learn depending on your expectations.
plants look good now and will be more needy during their flowering cycle.
learn about lights, schedules, atmosphere controls, substrates, pests/control, fungus, correct watering, feeding, pick up an ac unit, some fans, a dehumidifier, wet/dry vac, a high/low humidity/temp meter,
and follow the guidelines for success. good luck

I'm curious, what general part of the country/world are you growing? Most of the northern latitudes are harvesting this month, I'm guessing maybe you're in the tropics?

west coast actually brother been having a weird spike of tropical weather lately, has been in the steady 80s at least but not much humidity kinda on the dry side.

You might want to get PH 6.0 to 6.2. As the other guy mentioned - you are still in veg stage and you will need 18 hours of light. Flower 12 hours. It is late in the year for outdoor grows even for Cali.

Who mentioned 6.0/6.2?? Your seein shit dude.

like i said i went into this no expectations everything is always phd at 6.5, a little late yeah but was just trying to go through what would be my first grow

I recommend getting yourself a 3x3 or 4x4 tent and a nice COB LED light and do your first grow inside. You are too late to start a grow outdoors.

The glass is half full not half empty. Keep on doing what you're doing only one way to learn

areas near the equator like Jamaica are almost always at 12/12 and they still grow. is it ideal, no but they still get you high.
grow, learn from it, then try again because you are now a more experienced grower.
good luck and do check out the link in @chemphlegm post, some good books in there, or growweedeasy.com

Growers at the ew4uator who want to be able to get a decent veg period use greenhouses with supplemental light. I've always been told that SoCal has strong enough light in the winter for a decent crop, you just won't get much of a veg.

OP, I always advise new growers to start with bag seed. It takes much of the stress away so you can grow without having to worry about how much you paid for the seeds. You will learn so much the first go round, but it is a never ending education. Like suggested, reading good weed growing books is a big help.

I'm doing another fall/winter crop here in NW Florida. I'm outdoors from the seed drop, so it's all natural light for me. The plants will start to flower as soon as they reach sexual maturity at 4-6 weeks of age. They don't get big, but seeds are free, so you just plant as many as you need.

My bread and butter strains, {CP1, Ass Cheese and Gorille de Raisin} were all seeds gifted to me. I also crossed a couple three kinds of bag seed in with all that, along with some bargain crosses I got for a buck or two per seed.

Doing a fall/winter/spring grow last year gave me a leg up on making seeds. I got the Ass Cheese and Gorille de Raisin seeds in November last year. I grew them out and hit both of them with Powernap X Sinmint Cookies pollen. This summer I grew the PN X SMC X GdR and PN X SMC X AC. Used them in crosses with one of the Triangle Kush Cookies X Sinmint X Shit Skunk crosses and Blue Shiva X Blue Shark, respectively. Now I'm using those seeds in this fall/winter grow. Making seeds is easy. Just pick your best male and females, and keep good notes. {and label everything when you are chopping. No one wants to grow "Who's your Daddy?" seeds}
