Closing threads because of one persons abuse against the topic (Ron Paul thread) isn't proper use of moderators power. I reported a spammer who admitted he was spamming the thread but rather than fix the problem with the out of control user fdd chooses to close the thread. So I'm now officially outa here. Goodbye RIU, you've gone to hell.

Yeah they let me stay that suggests they are good people.

But it is true the kiddie crap is hard to sort out once it gets started.

Start another thread and continue.

So don't leave.. If they can find it in their hearts to let a odd-ball like me hang out they will see clear for a new RP thread.

Sometimes the mods get overloaded on a thread, easier to shut down. Start another hopefully that same person wont do it again. If he does start another. I'll post in a Ron Paul to keep it alive for sure.Sooner or later that person will get it.

Well I am not a big RP fan but I am impressed with both He and the Republican from New Mexico..

They are the brave ones!

Im really pretty upset they locked my Ron Paul thread which I updated daily because of that troll, Ill just make a new one, it was due to make a new one anyway I guess. In the new RP thread I will summarize what we went over in the old thread and hopefully the original post can be 10x better because my old Original post had many flaws. You gotta admit 45 pages a lot of people were not getting the whole story cause who the hell would sit and read 45 pages especially when the first couple of pages really sucked.

Sounds good..

I know the post counts are important but RP is more so for many. Many young people like him.

I'm generally interested in how this goes with RP and the young here.

I dont see what the problem is.

If you let this bother you then you take the joy out of sharing and enjoying this hobby with the rest of us. Unless you simply do not take joy in it no more, then understandable, but be open minded and understand from a moderators stand point, after the last few months I would have a 0% tolerance level for it all too, til things settle down.

Its just one thread, with things that already HAVE been discussed. Lets think about the future and the things waiting to be conversed.
I am sure in time, things will become neutral and all will be good.

i have my settings set at 30 posts per page.

i got 8+ reported posts from several different people complaining about several different people.

the reports were for posts spread over the last 3 pages of the thread.

i do NOT have time to sort thru 3 pages of name calling, in the politics section, simply to be able to declare a "winner".

so i just closed the thread.



you're seriously so hurt over this that you're leaving? because i closed your ron paul thread due to fighting?

i'm sorry, i can't help you. :(
