No pre flower for chemdog #4, straight to crown?

I I have a few plants here (chemdog #4 fem from blimburn and two reg nepalese landrace, all photoperiod) and they were topped at day 25, two nights ago. One of the landrace has the usual pre flowers popping up on the main nodes and has had alternating nodes for a week beforehand as I started on a 12/12 schedule. I expect it to stretch for a bit before crowning and recover from the topping well. Going on four weeks today alongside another landrace which is recovering well from the topping with no signs of pre flower or stretch yet.

However the chemdog #4 topped at the same time has thrown pistils out the top of the top node or two overnight which are only a few cm long, but there are no pre flowers anywhere on the plant, it has not stretched and there are no alternating nodes.

Notice the complete lack of pre flowers?
Has anyone had a plant where only two nodes have begun to flower up the top with no visible sign of pre flower anywhere else on the plant, and no sign of alternating nodes anywhere?
Out of like 15 plants I've grown, I've never had a plant that didn't go through the usual alternating node pattern, into pre flower period with pistils popping up at every main node and then going into a stretch period before crowning. This chemdog has gone straight to crown with no pre flower or stretch, in two days.

What are your experiences? Have plants that crowned without pre flower stretched satisfactorily?

early flower isnt much of an issue, just never seen a plant that hasn't shown any pre flowers at the main nodes before crowning, and for it to happen overnight is crazy quick. One of other two has had pre flowers for a week or so and is just beginning to stretch, and the third is beginning to stretch and alternate lower nodes, but no pre flower yet. Maybe its just an odd strain.

I've only seen it on clones that are stressed while trying to root, and they usually grow out of it.

You topped during flowering stretch? The only time I've done that, stretch basically stopped and I ended up with a very tiny plant.

The chemdog wasnt in flower stretch, and hadnt shown any pre flowers when topped, they have only come on at the top node after topping. There is still no signs of re.flower anywhere else. Only the one landrace had shown a few pistils when topped.

I top all my plants when they pre flower (last twelve have been topped a few days after the first pistils) anyway and they usually end up like this. Were all topped at day 25 when pre flowering

For example, here it was like 36 hours ago, no pistils where topped, or anywhere on the plant

Never seen crown come on over 36 hours with no pre flower anywhere, and no alternation. The topping could have just stressed her for all I know..

Seeing such difference in flower onset with these two vastly different strains Is interesting. The chemdog which began flowering the second I topped it has stetched but I don't think it'll have much more left in her. I expected one runt out of three considering they were 12/12 from seed.

The Nepalese pre flowered over a week before the chemdog but has not crowned yet and is stretch mode still. This response is what I am used to. A pistil or two and then two-three weeks of stretch.

The chemdog is the first heavy indica Dom I have grown. The rest have been sativa dom of flat hybrids (GG #4, strawberry cough, amnesia haze, ak420 and such). I'm used to long limbs and heavy side branching with a few weeks stretch.

Id be interested too see if the quick transition into flower is a trait of the Blimburn chemdogs or just a stress response from topping in bad environment/vpd (like 2.5-3 vpd and 31-33c) Could come in handy with 4 weeks of 20/4 before flipping instead of 12/12 from birth to keep plants small.
