no purg and still no sizzle

I'm in the process of making more bho, and for an experiment I put unpurged wax on a hot nail to see how much it would sizzle, and there was none. Just poofed into smoke.


And the bit that I have in the chamber now is so thick it's not bubbling at all at 100 degrees.
I've always tested the bho by sizzle. Which I've never seen, so now I kinda feel like I might me doin something wrong?

Sorry I think I'm just fiening. I see it expanding veeery slowly.

What happens when you stick a gob in an open flame?

The butane tends to pool in the thickest areas of the purge patty.

Usually take samples from there.

If you release pressure and let the heat re-settle the patty you will see reactions in the next pull.
