Anybody got a clue on how to kill the stretch? I switched the light cycle about a 3 weeks to a month ago and theyve started developping flowers see them progressing slowly accept the past week flowers lookin like they stopped growing or slowed down like crazy. Feeding canna nutes. Water twice then feed dry out about every 2 1/2 days now. these are shitty crop king seeds so idrc about em too much or worried about ceiling space cuz i got tons just want a quick harvest and ill post pics of few days into flower 1 week and as of today below not sure if uploading is still working on the site atm but anybody got any ideas on stopping the stretch n packin on weight quicker? Light i backed off like crazy and lowered wattage to 750 didnt do much at all and theyre too strong for any more trellising. Btw ignore the one in the middle of the scrog it was a shitty runt i used to fill up space yes i know it looks like garbage from being supper cropped a milli.

You can't stop the stretch. You can tie them so they go out sideways, but no stopping. You need to plan on your plants at least tripling in size during the stretch, sometimes quadrupling in height. sativa dominant will grow to the taller end of the spectrum. Indica will will stay closer to the triple side. You've got a net like you were going to try scrog, why didn't you keep it up?

You are just going to have to deal with it the best you can at this point. Keep the light at full strength, that will keep them the shortest and strongest. Less light will make them grow taller and skinnier.

For some reason or another i was under the impression it was the opposite with the light but will switch now and its still in the scrog net (last picture was now) but theyre pulling it up too strong to tie it down anymore cept the small branches and would put another layer if i had any

Less light, whether photoperiod or intensity, will definitely increase the stretch and increase time to harvest, these fine folks are steering you right. I bet 750 watts is still plenty, though, so you probably didn't do significant damage to your yield. Do you use HPS for the full cycle? I typically use T5 and LED in veg, sometimes for the first couple weeks of flower, I swear those higher Kelvin temperature colors reduce the stretch a bit, but some strains are just fuckin' leggy.

Looking at your pic's you just are using the scrog net only as support for the stems instead of an actual scrog. With scrog you have to train your plants as they grow to stay under the net the whole time they are growing. Every day you should go and bend any growth back under the net until they are done stretching, the stems should never be sticking thru the net. Then only single buds will be sticking above the net a few inches.
