Noob breeding/seed production question

Now that i have began to start messing about with breeding I've ran into a couple questions that i cant find a answer for.

1) If when the male pollen sacks open the pollen gets help from a fan to travel in a closet how many seeds would a plant get on average? i know this will vary from plant to plant and all the different strains, but i would like to know if i got a average amount or not.( i got about 60 seeds from 2 two foot mothers.


2) What exactly is this yellow thing in the picture on my bud? this is the supposedly seeded buds. It almost looks like a flower. Would that mean it went hermi?

only 60 seeds? next time cut the males pollen sacks off and shake em on the girls buds. you should get hundreds of seeds if you do it to every branch

Thats not much from those 2 plants considering in AZ an O of cheap mexican regi can have upwards of 60 seeds in the bag.
