noob closet grow 1st timer needs advice on what to do next ...

Greetings - Let me preface by saying I couldn't even grow a cactus - I killed it. So, out of 10 seeds, I did end up with 3 healthy plants. I forced flower after 5 weeks. Two showed male, and 5 days later my last chance baby showed pistils. Here's what I think I can do - Put my plant back into veg and wait till I have clonable branches. (She's only 14 inches). Take the clones. Here's my dilemma. All of them will be in veg, but the mother plant will be "way ahead". Can I top the mother plant or what should I do? I don't want to sacrifice her, right? Should I fix up a cover for her and use it when she's big enough to go back to flower, because the clones will still be in veg? Thanks, Len
