I ordered from attitude, never received my seeds then placed an order with herbies and finally got them. I made a whole bunch of unnecessary mistakes. I put the germinated seeds into the Gro-Dan cubes without soaking the cubes in 5.5 ph water, I put the freshly rockwooled seeds underneath a 600w HPS setup, CLOSE TO IT. Next morning cubes almost dried out, so went to the hydro store by me, he told me I should use T5s for seedlings, and that 1 bulb would be enough for all 6 seedlings... Well, they all died a week under that light. Is 1 T5 bulb even enough?

You just need to read more. Buy ed rosenthal's book it has a wealth of information. That or a grow bible of your choice

grow them bitches a little strechy under the T5 youll be buying. before you throw them under the hps, DONT PUT THEM CLOSE, thats 600 watts of throwdown you got there, fan the shit out of those plants, and have that light i would guess 2-3 feet above them.

Hey Omni, for sure you need to be reading up on the basics. Keep it simple for the first couple of grows. I'd start off in a soil medium if I were you. T5's are plenty for germination/seedlings.
