noob in total Distress plant dying need help asap.

Hi every1 So Ive been doing my grow for nearly 7 weeks now and everything has been going great. I nute burned them twice and managed to correct the problem by flushing them.

The second flush was a week ago and I was planning to start flowering cycle on friday.
I weant to the plant yesterday and all the small leaves that were there b4 had turned a very bright green. So I removed them thinking it may have been something to do with flush.

I went back 2day and the big fan leaves at the bottom are doing the same. I really need help with this cos I dont think it will make it through the weekend If it keeps spreading the same.

My ph is around 5 and Ive tried adding higher ph water to balance out its just not working. I tryed having a lok in the selfdiagnosing section but there seems to be no pictures

Could it need another flush? even though its showing no signs of fresh burns.

Heres what I use
250 HPS
Miracle grow Organic compost with food for 4 months
Indoor
Water about every 5-6 days. When the pots feel light

pls pls pls help +rep 4 the right answers

needs food. have you fed them since the flush? looks like it could be nitrogen deficiancy. what do you use for nutes?

also your plants are too tall for a 250. try to start blooming sooner next time. that 250 isn't going to penetrate very well. consider adding some cfl's for sidelights further down the plant

Tnx 4 that I was thinking I may have washed all the nutes out the pot.
Well I used some organic miracle grow plant and fruit food mixed in with the soil. I dont think they will need nutes through full veg cycle next time with that soil, when I repotted and they burnt. I hadnt fed them anything else since.

My plan was to go 8 weeks vegging but that plant is a lot taller than I expected but the others were 3/4 foot smaller. So I wanted to give the other chance to catch up or I would have done it about week 5-6

Ive added small amount of tomato feed in the water I just gave it cheers +rep 4u

^Exactly, you washed all the nutes out. They need some veg fert.(trace nutes, also) Why is the PH 5.0? You've been flushing, so I'd think that you'd be flushing with water in the 6.5 range, or higher.(I'd use 6.8-7.0 if my soil PH was already low) If it's not too much hassle, I'd flush again, bring the PH up, then feed at the very end. That should bring 'em back to life. :)

It'd be a good idea to use some lime during the flush, too. Add 1 TBS to one of the gallons of water that you're flushing with(after it's been PH adjusted), then keep flushing like you normally would. It looks like a small pot, so you shouldn't need nuch more lime than that, plus, you can always add more in the future. It'll help your PH from going that low, again.

P.S. Don't cut anymore leaves off. The less leaves it has, the quicker the others will go yellow, if the plant is struggling for nutes. It's feeding off them, and cutting them off, focuses the feeding to the other leaves.

thnx jawbrodt. I flushed them again and fed them a more concentrated dose of nutes today Its just regular tomato feed from b&q
I honestly don't know why the ph is 5.0 on the run off. I was doing it at around 7. I increased that to 7.5 2day.
What you said about not cuttting the leaves off made complete sense 2me as the spreading had got to more leaves so left the rest of the yellow ones 2day.
The pots hold 13 litres of water which should be 4 uk gallons or 3 usa gallons I think thaught that was plenty enough size? +rep 4u

Tnx to ever1 at RIU who help out. This site has stopped my plants from dying 3 times over all ready.

1 lst question should I still put into flower 2moro or shouuld I wait 4 a while? Its big now and really need to do it asap, but the plant will be weak at the moment.

^As for your question, I'd wait at least 5 days, if you can, because it could seriously effect your harvest if you don't. Plants have a tendency to burns up a shitload of N during the first couple weeks of bloom, during the stretching period, and if it's deficient now, it'll be near-death by week 4. Not good for yield, to say the least.lol That fert you're using should work good to get then N back up(it's a veg fert, right?), so wait about a week, if possible, you'll be glad ya did. Don't worry, it won't get much bigger by then, if any. It'll take back off after it's recovered, which'll be noticeable. Just wait for the growth spurt, and it'll be fine to move to bloom. Just make sure to keep using the veg fert for another 2-3 weeks,(the first weeks of bloom) before switching to bloom fert, or it'll turn yellow on ya again, quicker than shit.

P.S. When I flush for PH problems, I flush until the runoff comes up to where I want it to be, then stop. That way you *know* you're done. :cool:Also, flushing works better if you are careful to make sure the water soaks in evenly across the top of the soil. I use a sprinkler-type cap when I pour the water in, and also break up the top layer of soil, if necessary, so that the water doesn't all drain down one spot(or a couple spots), or down the edges of the pot. A good trick, is to water it heavily, let it sit for 1/2 hour or so, then flush. That helps the water pour through evenly, and also helps loosen up/dissolve all the crap you're trying to wash out.

Hope that helps a little. :)
