Hi everybody
Thinking I was gonna go DWC w/my rooted clones, I transplanted them into 6" netpots, in roots/organics brand coco w/ perlite. The first batch I put lava rocks in the bottoms of the pots before adding the coco, making them annoyingly a diff weight when I go to check moisture.
Now I'm not so sure I'm ready to do hydro and I'm wondering what'll happen when roots try to grow out of the netpot. These netpots fit perfectly in a folgers coffee can, but leave airspace at the bottom. I'd kinda like to transplant into other containers, but this brand of coco does not stay clumped at all, even when damp, and I don't want to shock my plants. They had a slow start rooting due to my Noobness, and are just now getting happy in their closet.
Am I stuck going DWC? I'm going back to work next week after medical leave and I don't want to fret about the plants (more than I normally would)
any suggestions are most welcome and appreciated
