Noobie seeking advice!

Hello all! I am on my first grow and 2 weeks into it. I have 2 plants...supposedly the strain is Berry White. I had 2 bag seeds. They are moving along slowly, I think? There is one plant that is slower than the other but in general the slower plant has had fewer issues than the bigger. I just transplanted the plants into a 3 gallon smart pots. Lights are Vipar full spec 300watts apiece. I have installed a 6" carbon filter and fan. I am running a humidifier and keep the humidity around 52%. I also have another fan circulating the air in the tent. I also purchased a carbon generator in a bag....not sure if this works due to the exhaust fan exhausting all air in the tent. The tent is 4x4x6. My light schedule has been 6 on and 2 off. Is there any problems with my setup or my light schedule that you could see? My temp stays around 79 degrees with the lights on and 72ish with them off. The bigger of the plants keeps getting these weird brown patches on the bottom leaves. I had to cut off the lower first real leaves due to them getting brown and crispy. Now it appears that it is starting this again on the first set of 3 leaves? Any input would be greatly appreciated. These are my babies. I am trying to get a mother plant eventually so that I can clone.

I tried it because I read somewhere that doing this can be beneficial for the plant to have darkness more often. And I was getting up to about 84 degrees near the plant with them running all day. Do you think I could just switch the light schedule back without shocking the plants?

Move thermometer out of the light, just use heat extraction forget blowing air and co2 looks pointless and not for new growers :-)

This ^ with your thermo in the light the difference is about 6f higher than he canopy. Infrared thrermometer is 18 bucks and lets you know the real temp right now. Here is a pic of the thermo in the light and an infrared reading of the canopy temp. I was running cooler to end this cycle and forcing more cool air to the canopy in the pic. Cheers man.
