Nor Cal. cant find a definitive answer. help ?!

so ive been cruising around the site looking for a post that suits my needs for the last couple weeks.

How much do you average off an outdoor plant? Given:

-Northern cali
-32 gallon trashcan growing container
- organic ferts (compost, chicken shit, home depot potting soil)
-from clone

can anyone ballpark it for me? ive heard if you plan on doing it right and putting in the effort a lb per plant?

and what are some dank nice yeilding strains that grow well in this area?

any help would be appreciated as i am giving up going through pages and pages of posts

You can definitely get a lb per plant if you do your part. No problem. put it outside around May and harvest around Oct. Start and sex it earlier. It will be bigger if started from seed but it really doesn't matter.
In the ground would be better too. If you have to go above ground I'd try one of the LARGE "Smart Pots".

with holes drilled in the bottom so it doesnt collect water, and if about 1 foot of large lava rocks are used for drainage, i think a garbage can would make a good container.
