Normal buildup or alge?

Is this normal? Power went out for a few hours, change res every 7 days, 5th week from sprout using Fox farm nutes.

hi there, have u got a light leak, coz i think thats what makes it all like that....

Algae is green so that is probably from your nutes.

Some buildup is to be expected. That's why we flush weekly.

I change every week, how do you guys get all the old nuts out of yor chiller without takeing the hoses out and dumping, takes me like 2 hr and changeing out fresh water like 7 times while shes in a temp bucket and sometimes a little still comes out.

I found that my water becomes like that when the temperature rises, when i managed to keep it around 29c but when it raises above that the water in the res tends to become white-ish and flaky. Vinegar can get you water to look like that also if you use it to lower you Ph, change your water every 2 weeks at least and you'll be fine.
Im using Ionic Nutrients mostly cause they're cheap but very happy with 'em.
