northen lights x sweet tooth very slow flowering. HELP PLEASE !

Hi. i have 1 plant under 4 23w cfl lights. the strain is double berry from feminized seeds. the genetics are northen lights x sweet tooth. this is my first grow and i did a lot of research before starting so i know a fair bit about growing but im not sure whats going on with my plant recently. it has been in 12/12 now for 4 weeks and 1 day and first showed pistils after 15 days of flowering but since then the bud growth has been minimal. i have looked at similar grows on the forums and found that people that are using the same lights as me and very similar cannabis genetics are getting far better results at 4 weeks of 12/12 then i am. does anybody have an idea why this is happening ?

more info:

i used miracle grow potting soil (i know i should have used different soil but i have seen miracle grow soil still work fine on other peoples grows)

the plant is in a 10 inch pot

i have not used any nutes as i wanted organic grow and the soil has 3 months of nutes in it.

i have ensured that there are no light leaks during the dark period and there isnt

i know more light would work better but i have seen 100w cfl grow that have worked well.

i water the plant every 3 to 4 days



any ideas guys ?

Feed it something for bloom. You can find organic products,like a tea etc... But they look O.K. The mg soil and plant food lacks on feeding for bulky buds in my experiences in the past years ago while growing in it outside for availability. Try adding some bat guano and patience!

Your plant probably needs a bigger pot. Can you post a full shot of the plant in the pot?

listen to the oldest here and do exactly what they say.. when you say you don't have light leaks , i guess you mean that you went into your grow room when it was dark,waited to ajdust your eyes in the dark and saw that you don't have light leaks right?

thanks for your input guys. i will be taking more pictures of the buds in 2 hours time (once my plants lights out time ends). i did look into using nutes but i was told that if i am using miracle grow soil i should stay away from any more nutes.

i will post a picture of the plant with the pot in the picture as well in 2 hours. its a 2 gallon pot and the plants only about 2 feet tall so i dont think its too small is it ?

that is correct lospsi. i grow in an attic at there is literally 0 light in the grow area to the point where you couldn't see the outline of your hand if it was directly in front of your face. do u guys think i should maybe swap the 12/12 cycle so that its dark period is at night so that there cant be light leaks or will that just cause stress to the plant ?

please ignore the burnt leaves towards to top. this happened when my lights slipped one night and burnt the plant. lol

She's definitely asking for bigger pot and more light will do only good..
