After careful consideration I ordered from Peak Seeds BC on September 18th. On same day I mailed an order from exact same mailbox for an inexpensive strain to Great Britain I won on auction. It is now January 3rd and my order never arrived. Peak confirmed receiving and filling my on October 5th but when it hadn't arrived two weeks later they told me they sent it out late because they were sick. This is after I let them know in advance my order was being sent and that I would be no longer at that address after October 31st. So, they've asked me to wait until after Christmas to see if the order showed up via mail forwarding and of course it didn't. Seven days ago I sent an email asking about it or if they planned to do anything, but no answer. In December "M J" said I would get my order if he had to deliver them himself. Incidentally, that order I sent regular mail to England same day, same mailbox, came back to me by regular mail exactly 12 business days later. Think about that for a minute, Peaks asks you to be mega patient with them, as if their mail works differently than the rest of the world. I wish it had gone better because I really wanted their stuff, and, I believe there are more good reports out there than bad on Peak. But I just have this feeling they slow play some people and don't send the seeds. Wish I felt differently but cannot recommend ordering from them based on my experience.
Incidentally, there was another thread on a different board about Peak with some unhappy people. One guy swore on this "bitch" thread he sent money but Peak told them it never arrived, so Peak graciously sent him a pack of seeds. I think that's pretty cool and all, I'm just having a hard as hell time figuring out why him and not me whose money they already said they received- yes, I saved a copy of the email transcript because if you don't, their hushmail blocks you out of the message after a couple weeks- it expires.
