I have had great success over the past two years growing in my So Cal backyard, so this year I decided to take it up a notch and get some NL5 x Haze (fem) seeds from Sensi. I was wondering if there was anything special I should be aware of with this strain. Some notes:
- I germinate on March 1 indoors with the intention of planting on April 1
- The girls are planted directly in my flower beds, not in pots.
- Fertilizer is Phytamin All Purpose Organic 4-3-4 + Earth Juice Microblast + blackstrap + CA-Libur (CA problems last year. Don't forget your CA). During flowering, I alternate the Phytamin and Biolink 0-5-5 for more P and K than N. They get fed every 2 weeks. Soil gets a healthy dose of manure and compost in December
- Bug spray is Neem+Spinosad+Soap+BT+Pyrethrin. Last year I mostly stopped spraying during flowering but I lost a couple of huge branches to infestation, so this year I am going to spray every 6 days like I do with my tomatoes and cukes.
