Those are 23w or 26w (75w incandescent equivalent) bulbs, not 75w of CFL. I had 3 seedings under mine as a first experiment. You should look into a beginner LED. i.e. Mars or something.

1. add more soil.
2. make sure your temps are 70-80 at most.
3.start saving for a new light solution.

You on commission for leds or somthing, few cheap t5's and a fan will make you a much better beginners veg tent and a step up would be a nice 250w metal halide and inline....

It's just easier on electric and it produces quality product. You don't really see CFLs in pro grow ops. Hence the LED suggestion.

LED's like that are ok for vegging, not for blooming. In the long run you would be sorry as you could have spent that money better!
You want to increase your light intensity and attempt to supply a good spectrum spread.
The best answer would be to let us know how big a space your working with and a few of us can give you a quality solution.
I know this is a lot of information to read through - BUT, YOU SHOULD! GREAT lighting knowledge spread out in this link!

You wont see cfls in pro gros because most pros know there is a much better choice of quality light.
Cost me pennies to run t5's and a 100watts is a 100watts unlike leds where a 100watts is more like 50 actual watts.
New growers would do a lot better to avoid the bs marketing claims of leds and start with a no bs light thats better and less hassle.
One thing led growers do is push leds here, if you werent youd give all the options and explain the far fetched claims leds make.

..Do you seriously think I'm biased? Because that is retarded. I'm trying to make it easier on the guy. I yielded near a QP for my first grow with LEDs. The MarsHydro and GalaxyHydro LEDs do, in fact, work, and they are a cheap alternative.

I'm not here to push any ideologies. I'm just recommending something for a new guy to get his feet wet. GalaxyHydros and MarsHydros WILL bloom. Look around and you will find successful grows from happy growers. I use BlackStars, myself.

Sure they'll bloom.....But the idea of NOT spending money on them is to get you into something that works BETTER first and for the long term! With the cost of these "entry level" LED's you can buy into lighting that will give BETTER results right NOW!
You won't have to "upgrade" later - spending money AGAIN to get there!
Successful and happy are relative terms here! How many have actually done other and better lighting? Found bigger and better yields....
WHY buy a band aid when you can skip the wound and healing all together?
Like I said.....We should find out what size an area he has to work with and not fly off willy nilly, suggesting something when we have no idea of his real needs!

You can build COBs for between $80 (300w) and $130 (600w)? If so, then sure, that would be the more obvious route, assuming you can wire something together. Personally, I can't. But that isn't to say he can't.

Also, both companies I mentioned have improved their products and have a 4/5 on Amazon. GalaxyHydro is slightly better, it seems.
