not sure what to do?

ok so i have 2 plants and they are starting there 5th week of flowering today.one is an indica strain and the other is a sativa strain. (bag seed) the sativa is about 4 1/2' tall and two days ago i noticed that one of the branches (2nd from the bottom) had two small male pollen balls on it i took them off the plant, there wasn't any on the indica plant or the rest of the sativa plant. then today when i looked at the plants a little higher on the same branch there was one, i took it off. the buds on the plant arnt very big 1'' maybe but theres like 25 bud spots (a lot of small buds),i dont want the bud to be seeded so can i dry the plant early? is it gonna not be worth it or should i just get rid of the plant? i sure dont want it to pollinate my other plant that looks great. any help would be great. h2ofarmer

What you have there is a he she. Best thing kill it and start again, unless you like smoking bud with lots of seed, not good..

Get that thing out of there asap. You don't want to ruin your other plant.

yea and next time plant more, for in case you get males.

once i take the plant out can i dry it and smoke the buds?

If it has lots of trichs on it yea you can smoke it,if you can move it give it a good flush,after the soil gets dry leave it in the dark for 24-36hours,it tends to make the plant give up there resin,even if it dont get more resin,it will still dry that much faster.If you cant see lots of trics just thow it away.Hoped this helped.

its not in soil its in an ebb and flow. how long should you flush for hydro? thanks for the help h2ofarmer

With hydro you olny need to flush for 3days max,sorry about that i should have known it was hydro by tour name,good luck.ps if i want 3 females i grow 6,even if i get 4 i just giveone to a friend.

i used bag seed didn't know the background.but i started with 7 and weeded out the males as they showed up now im down to one at week 5 of flowering. thanks for the help h2ofarmer

Thats not bad.Ive wasted 3+ months on bag seed just to watch them ALL hermie.I will never grow bag seed again,that was alot of time wasted;i think its well worth buying seeds,plus alot of banks give free one with every order.So order 1 strain at a time and you double your order by getting 10 free ones.I hope that ONE turns out great.Allthough bag is great to play with if your new to growing.
