I am just beginning to use their products . I am testing their amino acids and their Calcium Magnesium .
I am buying the smallest size , 2 ounces .
If you search the internet for Harley and NPK you can find a lot of answers . Harley has free videos on the internet and I have watched most of his free videos . He works for NPK and is a genius Botanist . I you mix Calcium+amino acids , it is suppose to make plant resistant to white powder fungi . So far I am using just the amino acids because there is already Calcium in my soil . ( I am expecting NPK Cal Mag in a few days ) .
From what I am doing is buy a few , and they work good , buy a few more 2 ounces packs , and eventually I hope all their products work good , in which case I will eventually have their entire product line . They have several sizes to choose from going up to 2 pound bags , which is a massive amount .
P.S. The Amino Acids in my packet , is suppose to open up Calcium Channels in the roots and increases the Calcium up into the plant , to 1000 times more than without certain Amino Acids . The Calcium makes the cell walls of the leaves thicker and something about Pectin . And since this topic involves explaining that Calcium is used to make up bones in the human beings , that if I remember correctly , that more Calcium makes for stronger stalks and stems , which might increase the width of the main stem , if I am correct about what I read or watched in a video . Also , in theory , if you have branches that are drooping somewhat , that it possibly could make the branches lift up and tilt more out and up , as opposed to out and then drooping down . So far from my first test experiment , my branches are starting to go out and up , instead of going out and drooping down ,
So , what I learned from what I read or watched on a video . The Amino Acids and perhaps extra calcium , goes into the soil , and opens up channels in the roots to increase the Calcium uptake into the plants , but I did not learn anything that mentioned Foliar Feeding . So for now I am only adding the Amino Acids diluted with a lot of water , into the soil , with enough liquid mixture to get to the roots ,
This also works in hydroponics , in which case , you have to add not only special amino acids to your nutrient solution , you also need to add Calcium for this to work ; whereas with soil , there is some calcium in the soil , and if so , you might get away with just mixing the Amino Acids to say , a gallon of water , and then water your plant with the diluted solution . When my Raw Cal Mag gets here in the mail , I will test making a solution with the Raw Amino Acids + Raw Cal Mag to see if I get a more noticeable result .
