This will be an ongoing journal. New strains will be popped each run. I'm growing in a 6x8 shed with 3x7 being used for the canopy.

Strains:
10 - Greenpoint Seeds City Slicker (Gelato 33 x Stardawg)
10 - Greenpoint Seeds Pebble Pusher (FPOG x Stardawg)
4 - Ethos Crescendo RBXV2 Fems (Crescendo # 7 x Mandarin Cookies #17)

Lights:

800w of LED
- 2 240w Kingbrite 3500K
- 2 HLG QB 96 on HLG-320h-54A driver

Medium:
DTW Coco 3G fabric pots

Nutrients:
Dyna Gro ProTekt, Foliage Pro, Bloom, Mag Pro

This is my first round with LED so this shall be interesting. Seeds were popped about two weeks ago. The 4 Crescendo Fems were popped 5 days later. They will go from solo cups to 1 gallons and finish in 3 gallons. Plants will be topped and scrogged. Drip system is almost finished, just need to add the micro tubing. Using a 15G res with 3 8-outlet manifolds. Corrugated panels will be put into flood trays after the plants are transplanted and runoff will be removed with a wet vac, nothing fancy. I burnt some of the plants a bit, we had some cold nights so I threw them under a 400w MH but forgot to plug in my AC so the temps got too high during the day but they'll bounce back. I'll get some better pics tomorrow.

They were transplanted into 1 gallons today. Also got my DIY DTW trays done with pieces of corrugated roofing elevated inside of OSB covered with pond liner. Trays are slightly sloped to encourage draining to the front center. Pretty productive day considering we are having a heatwave and it's 102F outside.

Shot of the room with the new QB 96's added. Just turned them on to test and for the photo, won't actually be using them until the plants are transplanted into the 3-gallon fabric pots. Ignore my messy cords, I have to extend them so I can route them a bit cleaner to my light controller.

Had an extra submersible pump laying around so decided to make an aero cloner. Took me about an hour and cost about as much as I'd spend on a pack of rapid rooters. Decided to try using just the foam collars but I may add net pots just to make them a bit more secure. I have an extra air pump that I will throw in the cloner as well. Going to run the cloner on a cycle timer (1on/5off)

I also got a 3.2-gallon Evaporative humidifier to keep the humidity up in the grow room. I ended up getting a digital one and it does not have auto restart so it won't work with my separate humidistat which is a bit unfortunate since the highest setting on the humidifier is 60% and anything beyond that is continuous operation.

Quick little update:

Plants are doing well for the most part. Still recovering from getting burnt by the 400w MH. Going to bump up the feed a bit as some appear to be showing signs of deficiency. I need to get an RO filter ASAP, my tap water is horrible @440ppm. I've been going light on the nutes because of that.

They are currently under 2 Kingbrite 240w 3500K dimmed to about 60-70%.

Going to top them within the next week, give them a few days to recover, and then transplant into 3-gallon fabric pots.

Also, I actually have 9 Pebble Pushers and 5 Crescendos. I culled one runt seedling early on and mistakingly thought it was a Crescendo.

Not much to update. Plants have been topped and will be transplanted into the final 3-gallon fabric pots within the next week. I'll get a picture update soon.

On another note, got an order from JBC, freebies are on the right. Now to decide which of these to run first. :blsmoke:

Quick update:

Things are going decently well. Was out of town for a few days and had a buddy tend to the plants and must of went heavy with the nutes. Tested my runoff when I got back and it was 1700PPM. Got them back on track for the most part.

They have been topped and defoliated several times. Trying to keep them short until they show sex. I have 6' ceilings which only leaves me about 3.5 - 4' of canopy space once pots & lights are factored in.

I spread the plants out and turned on the QB 96's. The 2 Kingbrites are dimmed @60% and 96's dimmed @50% for ~450w total sitting 18-20" from canopy.

Transplanted into 3 gallons and culled some males today. Still waiting for the others to show, but this is what remains.

Down to 17 out of 25
City Slicker (Gelato x Stardawg) : 9
Pebble Pusher (FPOG x Stardawg) : 3
Crescendo RBXV2 : 5

Not a good female ratio on the Pebble Pushers, hopefully the remaining 3 are females.

Quick shot of some rootporn during transplant.

My chickens always look forward to plant sexing time, I let them cull the males for me.

Still a bit droopy after transplant. I added a Dehu in the room as the humidity outside has been getting into the 80's the last few nights and lights off temp was going down to 76-78F. Now the room is staying between 82F-85F 60-70% RH even during lights off.

Just ordered an RO filter. I have a HydroLogic Small Boy from when I ran organics outdoors but my tap is still over 400ppm. I'm sure my plants will be much happier with RO water.

It's like Christmas!

No more 440PPM tap water

I scored 5 of these drivers for $64 shipped. The 24v's are for some Samsung M series 2' strips that on the way. I missed out on the sale for the F/H series strips so the M series will have to do. Couldn't really find any info on people making DIY lights with the M series. It seems they aren't as efficient but they were only $0.68/ea for the 4000K and $0.83/ea for the 3000K so if they really suck I won't be too disappointed. They will be for the propagation/veg tent. The 54v's will be for some more QB's.
