Nute Burn? Overheat? Please help this little girl!

Hi

This seedling is almost 2 days old and is starting to develop some strange color! I took this picture with my phone and a 3x microscope so bare with me. ;-)

- Indoors
- 1 42W CFL 6500k
- Expert Gardner's Organic Potting Soil (I've grow a few seedlings with this stuff and haven't experienced nute burn so I'm leaning towards overheating)
- I water once soil appears dry and becomes lighter

I've moved the bulb about an inch further as precaution but I would like some second opinions.

Thanks :peace:

WOW. First of all, a plant that young should be getting NO NUTES. Your soil should have plenty for the first 7-14 days.

Your WAY TOO on top of things this early in the grow. Leave the fucking thing alone for a couple days. Let it get its legs under it and start growing. Some seedlings just grow wacky at first, a couple of mine did all kinds of wierd shit but ended up ok.

Hell, I had one when it came out of the dirt it losts its top with the seed, so only a stem grew until it was 3 inches tall and then it died. Not one leaf.

If you fed the seedling that early its probly gonna die. Good luck and wait it out.

I didn't feed it anything. I was talking about the soil which is 0.06-0.09-0.06. I wasn't sure if there were nutrients that clumped together in the bag and if I should replace the medium.

In the meantime, I switched the single 42W with a socket splitter and added a 23W over the older plant and a 13W over the seedling mentioned above and doubled the length to the bulb.

*crosses fingers* :|
