Nute help

having trouble with the nutes i been using FFOF soil and i just bought liquninox grow how much should i put i know it says 1 tablespoon per gallon half all that but would the soil and nutes burn the plants?? by the way i dont have a ph meter ether.......... do i need one?

how old are the plants? if they are less than a month old i wouldnt give them anything. also you say it has nutes in the soil? if they do wait till the plants get older and more stable then you can give it at 1/4 strength a time or two then 1/2 strength and i would stay at that

well i have 4 different sized pots the plants are old enough i just dont know how much water need/put ect.

if i were to put it nutes in a liter of water how much is that in a spoon??

when using FFOF soil DONT ADD ANY nutes for the first 2 or 3 weeks , that soil comes loaded and is hot right out of the bag , after 2 or 3 weeks slowly add the nutes of your choice at half rate working up to full rate , this is a sure fire way not to burn your plants or get Nute lock , Also FFOF tends to get hard between watering I add something that doesnt hold allot of water but well losen the soil , I prefer washed clean sand but theres plenty of things you can use just remenbe coco wicks calcium and magniesem away from your plants so if using CoCo add a Cal/Mag nute

A Ph tester is really the only tool a grower needs. You can grow without one but I'd put it in the "very important" category. We've had the best results buying a cheap test probe for about 20$ and then a capsule-type soil test kit to check the probe's readings from time to time.

Soil should be wet so that a handful drips only a few drops when squeezed. It's harder to tell how much to use in the pots but you want to wet the soil as much as possible while still allowing air to get to the roots. Wait until about the top third of the soil is bone dry before watering and try to water slowly. The faster you water, the more will run out the bottom. Spraying the top of the soil before watering can help it spread throughout the pot more evenly. As long as you wait until the soil is dry before watering again, watering a little too heavily isn't usually a big deal. Just make sure the soil at the bottom of the pot gets moistened.

Plants shouldn't receive fertilizer until the three-bladed leaves start to grow in and then only weak nutrients. How big they are is one of the main factors when determining how much fertilizer you should give them.
