I was wondering if anyone can make sense of fertiliser expiry dates? Which kinds have what sort of shelf-lives? Do chemical fertilisers have longer expiry or organics? What about the by-products of chemical breakdown. Why many of the fertiliser lines do not show expiry dates on the bottles?
I asked Fox Farm about expiry and got this response:
"Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom has a shelf life of about 2 years.
Big Bloom is like a fine wine it gets better with age."
As for the pic attached..: .Pretty bottles arent they.. but what is actullay in them?!!!!
