Nutrient Lockout / Magnesium Deficiency During Flowering In Coco

I'm not even sure what the problem really is. To me it looks like a magnesium deficiency and I've already ordered some Epsom salt. I grow in coco and under LED light. I water every 3-4 days (when the pot feels light) with plenty of drainage (30%). I give nutrients every watering (Canna Coco) and I haven't flushed once since I don't really see the need when watering nutrients with enough drainage every time (maybe I'm wrong). The new growth looks pretty good to me, not every leaf is affected, just some of them and they got worse over the days. But no new leaves affected I think. What do you guys say?

Switched to flowering on the 28th of July, Sensi Seeds Super Skunk
It seems that only leaves on this certain height have this deficiency. The older and newer leaves seem fine

You've made a mistake with watering.

Coco shouldn't be left to dry out.

If it dries, its pH changes drastically.

Step up your watering to every 2 days.

How could I miss such a simple thing after all the research. Thank you very much I step up the feeding. But I'm not really sure this is going to solve my problem entirely. I did it this way since this plant was a seedling and never had a nutrient problems before.

Are you supplementing your coco with cal/mag,as coco has a tendency to hang on to these nutes.
Also i think plants under led`s use up more cal/mag,so needs supplementing again.
GL with your grow.

Good info.

Canna coco nutes have elevated levels of Ca and Mg compared to soil/hydro nutes.

Very correct about led lights making plants hungrier for Ca and Mg.

I've found during flowering under hps that they also require more Ca and Mg especially so if using any PK boosters.

Another thing is that by simply applying your nutrients more frequently you are replenishing the Ca and Mg more frequently with each watering.

For now personally I wouldn't worry about buying anything extra though.

The reason the seedling was fine during veg is because there is a buffer present in the coco medium to help with Ca and Mg deficiencies.

Step up your watering schedule as suggested and monitor what happens.

Then if you want to on your next grow implement the Ca and Mg as additional supplements.

I mainly order from Amazon. I can get CANNA's TRACE MIX though. But I think this is not the right thing.
I hope the epsom is gonna help.

Epsom as a foliar would help but you need to be careful of spraying in flower.

IMO the last thing coco needs is more dissolved salts.

It says it is not available for some reason.. :/

I should've probably mentioned that I have no pure coco but coco+perlite (50/50). When I made this post I didn't think that it mattered.

Does that mean that I can't use epsom salts for feeding the lacking magnesium to my plants when using coco?

I use coco perlite 80/20.

50/50 would dry out very quickly! In this mix I would advocate watering daily!

You can use Epsom salts on a few occasions but IMO it shouldn't be relied upon in coco.

Hopefully the link worked for German eBay to mono Mg.
