Hello all,
I have been doing a fare amount of reading on the subject of growing psylocybe cubensis, in regards to the pf tek method as well as variants on the cake method. It seems to me that the mycelium could support far more harvests it the nutrient value of the substrate was not depleted.
This brings me to the point; Which nutrients do mushrooms uptake, and is there a quantifiable method of researching this? Secondly, how could we administer the needed nutrients to the substrate with out damaging the mycelium, either mechanically or with the excessive water necessitated by traditional hydroponic methods?
Regards,
Pb
