I just made a BUBBLE cloner and well i cut the plants at 45 degree angle, right above the nod and it has 3 nodes above it, i shaved a small amount of the outside skin off and then dipped it in the rooting gel and then i put some cloning solution in the water. the stems are just touching the water. IS THIS ALL CORRECT? First time cloning, before i just kept using seeds because i was scared to clone, does all this sounds right to you?I've been doing an experiment with BMO Super Plant Tonic. I've got a 8 site, 5 gallon, cloner bucket that I put 8 Spider plants in (not a strain, but this:http://www.library.okstate.edu/vetmed/assets/ieatplants/main_listing_images/spider_plant.jpg) and added a couple tablespoons of SPT to the reservoir and within one week, all of them have shot out some great roots.
Sounds correct to me. How much cloning solution did you put in the water?I just made a BUBBLE cloner and well i cut the plants at 45 degree angle, right above the nod and it has 3 nodes above it, i shaved a small amount of the outside skin off and then dipped it in the rooting gel and then i put some cloning solution in the water. the stems are just touching the water.
